Cloverleaf Fluid bed Filter M140
Ideal for under filtered or overstocked ponds.
Designed to biologically consume waste products generated by fish in the pond, with constantly moving filter media, ensuring the entire area is colonised with essential denitrifying bacteria.
For use on mature ponds only (over three months), in conjunction with a mechancial filter. There is no maximum flow rate, providing the Biomass is not pushed beyond the transparent section.
Available in three sizes and either as a gravity return or pressure return system.
The M140 will both cater for heavy stocked ponds up to: 14,000 gallons (63,000 litres).
Unit Size: approx 2000mm high (80") with a 110mm core (4") containing 12kg of silica sand.
The M140 model requires a 1/4hp pump with an operational flow rate of around 1,400gph.
Remaining pipe specification of M140P is similar to the M70P.
The M140 & M140P will support up to 200kg (440lb) of fish load.
