These Velda Fish feeders has a built in worm screw mechanism that has been designed for grain and pelletized feed. It allows the food to remain dry and separated. Velda has carefully considered about the ease of use of the Fish Feeder Pro. The feeding frequency and amount of feed is easy to programme digitally. The digital timer works extremely accurately and can be set to the desired number of feeds per 24hr period. It can be set to between 2 - 9 seconds for each feed.

A handy table shows the connection between feed weight per second for each type of feed. The time set and the number of feeds remain set even in the event of a power failure.

The feeder holds about 3 litres. A sight glass allows the level of feed in the container to be monitored.

The Fish Feeder Pro is supplied together with four worm screws three of which have been specially designed for pellets with a diameter of 2-12mm. The fourth worm screw is for flakes. These screws are easy to change.

The feeders container and feed mechanism is designed to prevent moisture getting to the feed.

The Fish Feeder Pro is also very easy to clean.

Owing to the flexiblity of the system you may rest assured that your fish will daily be administered the right amount of food at the times you have set. The Smart Automatic Fish Feeder allows up to 6 feeds a day with the quantity of each feed between 2 - 6 grams. The feeder can handle all kinds of grain feed with a diameter of up to 8mm (do not use flake food).

The contents of the feed container is 1000ml and to prevent clogging should be thoroughly dry.

The Smart Automatic Feeder is supplied complete with batteries and fastening bracket. You can also hang the feeder above the pond using a strong line.
